Esta Imogene Dickens Dame

Esta Imogene Dickens Dame, a lifetime resident of Trumann, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006 at the family residence in Trumann at the age of 70.

She was born on Tuesday, March 31, 1936, in Trumann the daughter of the late Dennis Devoe and Pauline Elliott Hawkins. She was a housewife and a member of the Freer Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Junior Dickens in 1969; three brothers, Thomas J. Hawkins, Leland Hawkins and Dennis Devoe Hawkins Jr.; and her parents.

Survivors include four daughters, Linda Davis and Robie Holland both of Evening Shade, Sharon Morgan of Trumann and Debra Lynn Brawley of Coco Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Earline Coin and Deb Barker both of Trumann; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Friday Dec. 8 at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Jonesboro with Rev. Bobby Ivy officiating. Burial was under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Pallbearers were Kevin Waite, Doug Timbs, Jimmy Stevens, David Pierson and David Holland.
