Syble Janice Martin, 83, of Trumann, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 in Trumann.

She was born Nov. 14, 1923 in Thola, Ark. and she was a homemaker and member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Martin; one son, James Martin; her parents and four sisters.

She is survived by her son, Dairl Martin and wife, Mary, of Mountain Home; one daughter, Carolyn Loggins and husband, Delbert of Trumann; sister, Delores Sutterfield of Clinton; daughter-in-law, Betty Martin of Mountain View; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Landis Cemetery near Marshall. Pall bearers were LJ Forbus, Roger Forbus, Sr., Mark Martin, James Forbus, Gary Junior Branscum and Kyle Branscum. Honorary pallbearers were Joe McAuliffe, III, Kalvin Thomas, Roger Forbus, Jr. and Trent Martin.
