Brett West, 20, of Trumann died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born in Jonesboro and had lived his lifetime in Trumann. He was a 2005 graduate of Trumann High School and a member of the Maple Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Kim and Brad Parrish of the home; his father, Jeff West of Antioch, Tenn.; one sister, Blaire Parrish of the home; his maternal grandparents, Ken & Lawanda Stockton of Trumann; and his paternal grandparents, Shirley West of Jonesboro and the late George West.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 19 at the Maple Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Shaw and Bro. Ronnie Dye officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were Nickey Stockton, Ken Stockton, Johnathan Long, Tanner Miles, Brandon Whitlatch and Michael West.

Honorary pallbearers included Lucas Miller, Aaron Robinson, Blake Wright, Thomas Whitlatch and Terra McElyea.
