Goldie Leffie Short, 87, of Trumann died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 at Trumann Health & Rehabilitation Center in Trumann

Born in Marked Tree, she had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wheeler and Nora Miller Short.

She is survived by nine nieces, Mary Ann Mitchell of Colt, Betty Hogland of Kansas, Lois Collett of Okla., Louise Raymond of Bald Knob, Lucille Moreland, Kay Presley and Marilyn Keffier all of Trumann and Doris Exum of Batesville; four nephews, Raymond Williams of Trumann, Franklin Williams of Forrest City, James Williams of Marked Tree and Jerry Williams of Batesville.

Graveside service was Monday, Dec. 18 at the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg with Rev. Rickey Forbis officiating. Burial was under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
