Born on Monday, April 3, 1939, in Elm Grove, she was the the daughter of the late W. H. and Sudie Turner Adams. Mrs. Hamilton. She lived in Bay for the past 40 years. She was a housewife and a member of the Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband, James L. "Boll Weevill" Hamilton; a daughter, Melissa Hamilton; five sisters, 10 brothers and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Allen Edward and wife Tami Hamilton of Bay; a sister, Opal Shaw of Vilonia; two brothers, George Adams of St. Louis and Jack Bridgman of Conway; and three grandchildren, Seth Hamilton of Tampa, Fla., Wade Hamilton and Luke Hamilton both of Bay.
Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 22 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Bro. Gene Hogan and Bro. Michael Willard officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland.
Active pallbearers were David Adams, Eugene Adams, Kenneth DuVall, Bruce Spencer, Steve Bridgman and Wendall Gibbs.
Honorary pallbearers were Elouise DuVall and staff and residents of Plantation Home.
