She was born in Independence, Mo., and had lived in Trumann since 1972 and was formerly of North Carolina. She was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Haynes; a daughter, Carolyn Mullins; two sisters; two brothers and her parents, Fred and Josie Beaver Kirby.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Haynes of the home; two sons, James Haynes of Jonesboro and Melvin Lee Haynes of Trumann; three sisters, Katie John and Carolyn Jackson of Corning and Maye Cummins of Aberdeen, Wash.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 30 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Kimery officiating. Burial followed in the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery
Pallbearers were Blake Davis, Shane Bowers, Terry Carr, James Jones, Gregg Jones and Bart Kennedy.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Jones and James Plunkett.
