Esther Leona Walker Browder

Esther Leona Walker Browder, 90, of Trumann, died Monday at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

Born in Athens, Ala., she lived most of her lifetime in Trumann . She was a housewife and member of the First General Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Dave Walker and her second husband, Joseph David Browder; three sisters, two brothers and her parents, Eddie Smith and Nina Pearl Webb Russell.

Survivors include four daughters, Shelby J. Smith and Martha Green both of Trumann, Phyllis Sutton of Harrisburg and Agnes Ward of Paluski, Tenn.; three sons, Grady Walker and Bill Russell both of Trumann and Doyal Walker of Hardy, Ark.; one sister, Magaline Wood of Jonesville, La.; one brother, Darby Russell of Jonesville, La.; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral home in Trumann with Rev. Darrel Miller officiating. Burial will be at Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Pallbearers will be Terry Smith, Steven Walker, John Sutton, Bryan Tucker and Mike Walker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Jody Sutton and Mark Russell.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to First General Baptist Church in Trumann.
