Mrs. Katie Lee Gregory, 77, of Trumann died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Sabougla, Miss., she had lived in Trumann for the past ten years and was formerly of Memphis. She was a retired bank clerk and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Edwin Rodgers and her second husband, William W. "Bill" Gregory, three brothers, George Leon Ray, Raymond Ray and James Rufus Ray and her parents, George Levi and Lillian Freshour Ray.

She is survived by a son, Larry and Florence Rodgers of Trumann, a step-son, William W. "Bill" and Beth Gregory, Jr., of Nashville, Tenn., one sister, Jane Gill of Tyronza; five grandchildren, Laura Nix, Melinda Johnson, Jennifer Gregory, Jackson Gregory and Jacob Gregory and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 5 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Phillip Rodgers officiating. Burial followed Saturday morning at Forest Hills Cemetery on Whitten Road in Memphis, Tenn.
