Lillie Pauline Rash

Lillie Pauline Rash of Jonesboro was born on Thursday, Nov. 6, 1924, the daughter of the late Jack and Alice Scroggins Neeley. She was born in Cameron, Okla., she had lived for the past 40 years in Jonesboro and was formerly of Trumann.

Mrs. Rash was a retired housekeeper for St. Bernard's Medical Center and a member of the Nettleton Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Rash, Sr., in 1992; a daughter, Gail Rash; a son Johnny Rash and her parents.

She is survived by a daughter, Alice Long of Jonesboro; a son, Floyd Rash, Jr. of Powhatan; three grandchildren, Michael Scott Long, Christopher Long and Gregory Forrester and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 23 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Jimmy Adcox officiating. Burial was private at Harrisburg Memorial Park in Harrisburg.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Goad, Don Wisdom, Wayne Neeley, Greg Forrester, Paul Coats and Steven Price. Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Goad, Scott Long and Chris Long.
