He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He was a big fan of the Razorbacks and loved working crossword puzzles.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Harold Worley and a sister, Anne Hatfield.
He is survived by his wife of 46, Linda Worley, of Jonesboro; one son, Jody Worley of Jonesboro; two daughters, Robin Bowers of Jonesboro and Kay Stump and her husband, Brian of Jonesboro; his mother, Opal Worley of Trumann; one brother, Thomas Worley and wife, Veria of Trumann; one sister, Rosemary Ballard of Trumann; his grandchildren, Jonathan Smithee and wife, Dorilee, Clint Smithee, Brooke Bowers, Michael Coles, Aundy Coles; great-grandchildren, Cierra Navarro, Bailey Coles and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were Thursday, Jan 18 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Pat James officiating. Burial followed at Nettleton Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers were Dennis Gillis, Earnie Miller, Bill Craft, Larry Higgins, Todd Looper, Wayne Blake and Pete Tharpe. Honorary pallbearers were Brian Stump, Rodger Kiser, Mike Coles, Michael Coles, Jonathan Smithee, Dorilee Smithee, Clint Smithee, Brooke Bowers and Aundy Coles.
