Helen L. Bandy, 87, of Mabelvale, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007.

She was born June 22, 1919 in Trumann to the late Morgan D. and Viola Allen. She attended Christian Life Center in Little Rock .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Odell Bandy; sons, Albert Odell Bandy, Jr., Douglas W. Bandy; daughter, Virginia Landry; brother, Eugene Allen and granddaughter, Melody Bandy.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelby Hunt, Lois McIlwain, Debbie Hahn, Devene Hickey (Joe) and son, Duard Bandy, Sr. (GlenEll); grandchildren; Crystal Lindsey, Darlene Hendrickson, Darrell Trickett, Douglas Knauff, Jeffrey Knauff, Helen Landry, Josh Hahn, Amy Jackson, Becky Hahn and Duard Bandy, Jr.; 13 great grandchildren and a host of friends and church family.

The funeral service was Monday, Feb. 5 at Christian Life Center Church with Reverend Melvin Clifford officiating. Interment followed in Pine Hill Cemetery at Jonesboro.
