Alford R. "Jr." McAnally, 62 of Charlack, Mo., formerly of Trumann, died Wednesday, Jan. 3l, 2007, in the Des Peres Hospital in Des Peres, Mo.

Born in Trumann he had lived in the Overland, Mo. area for 40 years. He was a retired custodian for the Ritenour School District and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Euphel McAnally; one brother and one sister.

Survivors include five sisters, Justene Mitchell of Trumann, Geraldeen Henry, Aldean Lowery and Margaret Holbrook all of Overland, Mo. and Lujean Bass of Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, Donald McAnally of Imperial, Mo. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 7 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral home in Trumann with Rev. James Holbrook officiating. Burial followed in Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Pallbearers were Larry McAnally, Alvin Mitchell, Gary Henry, Mack Mccaa, Mike McAnally and Jessey Higdon, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers were Wallace Bradsher and Bill Cook
