Flo Richardson Harness

Flo Ellen Richardson Harness, 71, of Wichita, Kans. passed away Jan. 11, 2007.

She was born Sept. 14, 1935, at Landis to the late Coy and Delphia (Massey) Richardson. She was a graduate of Central High School at Caraway and went on to receive a BSE degree from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro. She taught for 31 and a half years, 29 of them for New Madrid County RI School District at Matthews. She retired in 1991.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Richardson and David Richardson, and her husbands, Leslie Dean Ragland and Willard E. Cude.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Harness of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and David Richard of Sikeston and Charlotte and Thane White of Wichita; one son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Verna Cude of Sikeston; five grandchildren, Derek Richards, Danielle Whitley and Logan Cude of Sikeston, Anna White and Shelby White of Wichita; one great-grandson, Devin Whitley of Sikeston; two brothers, Ed Richardson of Trumann and Bob Richardson of Lavaca; four sisters, Loretta Horton of Marshall, Racine Flores of Camden, Ida Branscum of Blytheville and Louise Yates of Hurst and 22 great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 16 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo. with Flo's brother, Rev. Bob Richardson, officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Park in Sikeston. Pallbearers were Derek Richards, Logan Cude, David Richards, James Whitley, Thane White and Dave Branscum.

Honorary pallbearers were her other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
