Gloria Dean Brown, 59, of Trumann died on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was director of nursing at Trumann Health and Rehabilitation in Trumann and a member of the Trinity Church in Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Pete and Georgie Vaden Goodwin.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry F. Brown of the home; two daughters, Tammy Holt and Vicki Bowers both of Trumann; a son, Scott Brown of Trumann; a brother, Gary Goodwin of Trumann and six grandchildren, Andrew Holt, Matthew Holt, Ansley Bowers, Baylee Bowers, Jaedyn Brown and Jaecie Brown.

Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 10 at the First Baptist Church in Trumann, with Pastor Steve Farmer officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.

Pallbearers were Larry Patterson, Billy Matthews, Barry Wood, David McDaniel, Bob Maloney and Donald Trenthem.
