He was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was the evening manager of Save-A-Lot in Trumann. He composed music on the computer and was an avid movie critic who knew all the directors and their works. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Carol Ann Haynes and Dr. Keith McClung of Trumann; his father, Ricky Poff of Trumann; a sister, Hannah McClung of Trumann; two brothers, Jeremy Kyle Poff and Alex McClung of Trumann; his grandmother, Lorene Haynes of Trumann and his step-grandparents, R.B. and Peggy McClung of Jonesboro.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 13 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Leonard Harp officiating. Burial followed in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Pallbearers were Justin Smith, Derek Smith, Trae McCorkle, Cameron Poynor, Jerome Thigpen and Chase Smith
Honorary pallbearers were employees of Save-A-Lot in Trumann.
