Carolyn Marie Herring Campbell

Carolyn Marie Herring Campbell, 52, of Trumann died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007 at the family residence.

Born in Hot Springs on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Norvalee and Adelle Stafford Herring. She had lived in Trumann since 1974. She was a planning engineer for AT&T, a member of the First Christian Church of Trumann and served as church treasurer, Sunday school teacher and youth group leader. She was a member of American Pioneers and past president of Trumann Women's League.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Wilson and her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Campbell of the home; one daughter, Audra Campbell of the home; three sisters, Cindy Parrish and Betty Graves both of Hot Springs, and Barbara Pistak of Calgary, Canada; two brothers, Tommy Comstock of Hot Springs, and Bobby Comstock of Chicago, Ill.

Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 26 at the First Christian Church in Trumann with Rev. Leonard Harp and Rev. Dennis Campbell officiating. Burial followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Mike Roach, Jr. Hendrix, Philip Cole, Mike Austin, Gary Baldwin, Gary Darr, Bubby Robinson and LaRoy McCann.
