March 7, 2007 at the NEA Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 49.
He was born Aug. 16, 1957 in Jonesboro, the son of Earl Vernon and Mildred
Venita (Craig) Dye. He married Tammy Marlow on Aug. 5, 1982.
Dye attended school at Bay, worked as a factory worker in the home hardware
industry in Rockford, Ill. before returning to Arkansas. He loved spending
time with his grandchildren, fishing, boating and dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mildred Dye; his son,
Terry Dye; three brothers, Bill Dye, Peewee Dye and Charles Dye; three
sisters, Judy Walker, Venita Kay Dye and Wilma Jean Dye.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Tammy Dye of the home, four sons,
Gary Dye, Jr. and wife Renee of Trumann, Billy Dye of New York, N.Y., Jimmy
Dye and wife, Connie of Trumann and Joshua Dye and wife, Amelia of Trumann;
two daughters, Tammye Dye and husband, Francesco of Rockford, Ill., Judy Dye
of the home; four brothers, Ronald Dye of Trumann, Rayburn Dye of Rockford,
Ill., Richey Dyeof Trumann and Thomas Dye of Trumann; one sisters, Betty
Woodard of Marked Tree and 18 grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, March 10 at the Thompson Wilson Funeral Home
Wynne Chapel. Interment and graveside services followed at the Caraway
Cemetery in Caraway.
