Christy Ociel Mitchusson, 88, of Trumann died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at the family residence.

She was born in Guyn, had lived in Trumann for the past 27 years and was formerly of Rochelle, Ill. She was a machine operator for Caron International and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess R. Mitchusson in 1979; one grandchild, Otta Jane Mitchusson; three brothers; three sisters; and her parents, Tom and Betty Sartin Vanatter.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Mitchusson Litch of Trumann and Christine Mitchusson Dean of Eustace, Tex.; two sons, Harold Mitchusson and Jessie Mitchusson both of Harrisburg; one sister, Hazel Madden of Trumann; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Rick Kimery officiating. Burial will follow in the Marked Tree Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lawrence Loven, Josh Loven, Jerry Hardin, Rance Dean, Steve Mitchusson and Butch Mitchusson.
