Judy Louise Russell

Judy Louise Russell, 66, of Trumann died Friday, April 20, 2007 at her residence.

She was born in Florence, Ala. and had lived in Trumann most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of the Christian Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Lyman Harper; her parents Clay Bratton and Charty Frazier Bratton; one son, Billy Harper and one daughter, Diane Harper.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Russell of the home; six sons, Danny Harper and his wife, Dorothy of Trumann, Robby Harper of Trumann, David Harper of Trumann, Homer Lee Harper and wife, Peggy of Sedwick, Clinton Russell and wife, Shelly of Florida and Leroy Russell and wife, Angie of Trumann; five daughters, Joyce Woods and husband, Perry Allen of Trumann, Christine Cotton and companion, William of Trumann, Carroll Sue Wilcockson of Jonesboro, Karen Russell Holmes of Marion, Rubby Russell and husband, Eric of Trumann; two brothers, Clay Bratton of Marked Tree and Tommy Bratton of Palestine; six sisters, Betty Buckner of Lunsford, Dorothy Woods, Nancy Wilson and Ellen Morelock, all of Trumann, Ruby Ward of Valley View and Hazel Ross of Melbourne; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, April 23 at the Living Waters Church in Trumann with Rev. Chad O'Brian and Rev. Tommy Jordan officiating. Burial was at Holly Springs Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were David F.C. Kent, Brother Jeremy Chaffin, D.A. Bratton, Jr., Billy Joe Wilson, John Boyd, William "Willie" Wilcockson, Hershel Wilson and Timothy "T-Bone" Freeman.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Allen Nixon, Dr. John Allgood, Rocky Lynn Bratton, Jamie Allen Woods, Perry Allen Woods, Michael Clay Bratton, William Cobb and Thomas "Tommy" Bratton.

The family request lasting memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 27718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
