Mr. Wucherpfenig was born in Black Oak and had lived in Trumann for the past 57 years. He was a retired machine operator for Roach Mfg., was a supervisor for the former Singer Company and was of the Baptist faith.
Wucherpfenig was preceded in death by two sisters; one brother and his parents, Raymond and Rachel Ainsworth Wucherpfenig.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wilma Wucherpfenig of the home; two daughters, Ann Daniel and Rhonda Long both of Trumann; two grandchildren, Britt Foster and Cory Long both of Trumann and three great-grandchildren, Felisha Foster, Raegan Long and Kendall Long all of Trumann.
Funeral services were Tuesday, May 15 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Ronnie Benson officiating. Burial followed in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Pallbearers were Gerald Hunt, L.C. "Button" McHalffey, Rickey McHalffey, Clovis McHalffey, J.D. McHalffey and David McHalffey.
