Quenton E. Eades

Quenton E. Eades 78, of Trumann died Thursday, May 11, 2007 at St. Elizabeth's Place in Jonesboro.

He was born in Scotland, Ark., and had lived most of his lifetime in Trumann. He was a machine operator for Arkansas Glass, a former employee of the Singer Company in Trumann, veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman, member of the Shady Grove Baseball Team, and of the protestant faith.

Mr. Eades was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbern Eades and was the son of the late William Henry and Eula Mae Bost Eades.

He is survived by three sisters, Reba Thomas of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Imogene Stout of Greentown, Ind. and Earnesteen Eades of Portland, Ind.; five brothers, William Eades of Jonesboro, Lonnie Eades of Des Arc, Afton Eades of Tuckerman, Doyan Eades of Lake Placid, Fla., and Wayne Eades of Kokomo, Ind., and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 15 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. G. W. Endicott officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were William Eades, Lonnie Eades, Afton Eades, Doyan Eades, Wayne Eades and Jerrell Eads.
