She was a home health care nurses aide, a lifetime resident of Crawford County and a member of Current Outreach Ministry Church in Van Buren.
She was receded in death by her husband, William Lee Brummett; both parents, Austin Jasper and Evie Inmon Owens; one son, Jimmy Vanatter and a brother, Travis Owens.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 2, at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial in the US National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by four daughters, Sharron Fisher of Trumann, Joyce Hays of Kibler, Penny Kizzlar of Cedarville and Deborah Foster of Roscoe, Ill.; one son, Randy Martin of Fort Smith; two sisters, Vernice Short of Trumann and Helen Frazier of Poplar Bluff; several nieces and nephews; 23 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Nance, Roger Nance, Cody Nance, Ronald Hays, Ronald Hays, Jr., James Kizziar and Donnie Fisher.
