James Holbrook

James B. Holbrook, 73, of Lake City died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Kentucky, he had lived in Lake City for three and a half years and was a retired steel mill worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tilsman and Audrey Holbrook, six sisters and two brothers.

Holbrook is survived by his wife, Francella McCord Holbrook, of the home; one daughter, Rhonda Tacker of Kentucky; one step-daughter, Julie Gilbee of Florida; three sons, Jerry Holbrook and Denver Holbrook both of Indiana and Randy Holbrook of Mich.; three step-sons, Rocky Jackson, of New York, Jesse Jackson of South Carolina, and Richard Jackson of Michigan; six sisters, Jeanette Stevens, Sharon Justice, Emma Justice, Sue Bailey, Bernice Plunkett, and Brenda Hall, all of Michigan; two brothers, Tilsman Holbrook and David Hall both of Michigan; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 22 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Larry Owens officiating. Burial was private.
