Charles Franklin Rhoads, 79, of Bay died Friday, June 8, 2007, at the family residence. He was born in Hominy, Miss., and had lived at Bay for 11 years moving there from the Trumann area where he had lived his lifetime.

Rhoads was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Minnie Hall Rhoads; three sisters, Bertha Weaver, Alta Blankenship and Edna Blankenship and by three brothers, James, Tom and Ted Rhoads.

Survivors include one brother, Chester Rhoads of Trumann; two sisters, Shirley Greenwalt of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Loretta Powell of Norman, Okla.

Memorial services were Monday, June 11 at the Payneway Pentecostal Church on Hwy 14 West in Payneway with Nick Rhoads officiating. Burial was private under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann
