Bishop was born on Monday, June 21, 1915, in Leachville and had lived in Trumann for the past 59 years. She was a housewife, mother and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edgar Wright; her second husband, Louis B. Bishop; one step-son; five grandsons; one great-great-granddaughter; three sisters; four brothers and was the daughter of the late Joseph Charles and Mary Melinda Clark Morgan.
Survivors include five daughters, Marion Macil Fortson and Melba Jane Fike both of Trumann, Mildred Ann Warren and Marcella Taylor both of Jonesboro and Rebecca Ann Stubbs of Jackson, Miss.; three sons, Butch Wright and Ronnie Bishop both of Trumann and Gene Wright of Lawton, Okla.; 153 Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and seven great-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, June 15 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan and Rev. Bill Moore officiating. Burial followed in the Trinity Cemetery in Bono.
Grandsons served as pallbearers and great-grandsons served as honorary pallbearers.
