She was born on Sunday, April 23, 1933, daughter of Kelsey Bowen and Mabel Fears Bowen Byrd in Caraway. She had lived most of her lifetime in the Trumann area. She was a homemaker and member of the Kirby Woods Baptist Church in Memphis, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louran H. Stotts in 1975; her parents, Kelsey Bowen and Mabel Fears Bowen Byrd and four brothers.
She is survived by one son, Daniel Huffman of Memphis, Tenn.; three daughters, Virginia Terrell of Olive Branch, Miss., Joan Malone of Hot Springs and Tanya Moore of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Vivian Doyle of Jonesboro; one brother, Bobby Byrd of Harrisburg; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Dr. Robert C. Pitman, Pastor and Rev. David Love, Minister of Congregational Care officiating. Burial followed in the Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion.
Pallbearers were Brad Brower, Don Terrell Jr., James Malone, Lance Easterling, J.D. Yeaton, Brian Moore, Jason Huffman and Justin Swift. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Byrd, Tony LaBlanc, Anthony "Boy" Byrd and B.J. Carter.
