Born in Dyess Colony, she had lived in Trumann for the past 33 years and was formerly of Marietta, Ga. She was a homemaker, former member of the Eastern Star and Poinsettia Club and a member of the Elm Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Blunk was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Anderson, her second husband Jimmie D. Blunk and her parents, Earl and Stella Bezzeard Wright.
Survivors include one daughter, Laurie Diane Hightower of Trumann; three step-daughters, Lawanna Kay Blunk, Loretta Lunsford and Leanne Brinson all of Corning; two sons, William Gregory Anderson of Trumann and Christopher Jerome Anderson of Rome, Ga.; one sister, Margaret Goodman of Trumann, one brother, Authur Wright of Trumann; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, July 9 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Elvis Brandon officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Pallbearers were Adam Anderson, David Gann, Robert Goodman, David Goodman, Jason Wilson and Wesley Cunningham.
