Born in Trumann, she had lived in Millington since 1974 and was of the Methodist faith. She was the daughter of the late Ermel C. and Jennie Fike O'Brien. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Richard L. Maglothin of the home; one daughter, Neil Maglothin Jones of Palestine; two sons, Richard L. Maglothin, II of West Memphis and Brian "Andy" Maglothin of Atoka, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Melanie Smith of Knoxville, Ryan Smith of Bartlett, Chelsea Jones of Forrest City, Amanda Maglothin and Sarah Maglothin of West Memphis, Steven Maglothin and Brandon Maglothin of Atoka; three sisters, Betty Timbs of Trumann, Sue Bixler of West Memphis and Kaye Gregory of Marion; four brothers, Carvin O'Brien and E.C. O'Brien of Trumann, Bob O'Brien of Strawberry and Gene O'Brien of Batesville.
Funeral services were Friday, July 6 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Chad O'Brien officiating. Burial was private at Bolivar Cemetery near Harrisburg under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann
The family requested that any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
