Thelma Lee Hayes Richey, 63, of Trumann died July 5, 2007 in a car / pedestrian accident.

She grew up in Brookland, graduating from Brookland High School in 1962. She has lived in Trumann since 1969 and was a member of the Viva Drive Church of Christ. She worked in factories most of her life including Singer, General Electric and Parker Hannifan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Nellie Hayes of Brookland

She is survived by her husband, Bob Richey of the home; two daughters, Cindy Corbin and her husband Burt and Sherri Lowery and her husband James, all of Trumann; one brother, Donald Hayes, Brookland; six grandchildren, Burtton, Autumn, Courtney, Aaron, Robert and Ricky, numerous friends, nephews and nieces.

Funeral services were Monday, July 9 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with J. R. Lyons and Darrel Miller officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial followed at Pine Log Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Doyal Lowery, Jimmy Lowery, Greg Chaffin, Bill Owen, Chad Wimpy and Raymond Asher.
