Jim Parker

Jim Parker, 39, of Trumann died Thursday at NEA Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Parker was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo. and had lived in Trumann his lifetime. He was a 1986 graduate of Trumann High School and owned and operated Jonesboro Auto Body Shop in Jonesboro and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Tulot.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Lora Parker of the home; one son, Ethan Parker and two daughters, Brittany and Ashton Parker all of the home; his mother, Sue Parker of Leachville; one brother, Charlie Parker of Jonesboro, and two sisters, Sheila Peltier of Trumann and Elsie Parker of San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral services were Sunday afternoon July 15, 2007 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Darrel Miller officiating. Burial followed in the Old Harrisburg Cemetery in Harrisburg.

Pallbearers were Shannon Watkins, Joey Wilson, Greg Wilson, Kevin Brooks, Shannon Henson and Brad Staten.
