Mable Blasingame Waters Haws, 90, of Trumann died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at Woodbriar Nursing Center in Harrisburg. Born in Mound City, she had lived in the Trumann area most of her lifetime. She was a retired volunteer grandparent at the Children's Colony in Jonesboro and retired CNA at Melody Nursing Center in Trumann.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Nelson Waters and Simon Haws; four sons, Charles "Buddy" Waters, Jimmy Dale Waters, Danny O'Neal Waters, Sr. and Phillip Nelson Waters, Sr.; one daughter, Bobbie Jean Harlan; two granddaughters, Kathy Harlan Scott and Cheryl Harlan Wallis and one grandson, Tim Waters.

Haws is survived by five daughters, Joyce "Dink" Adams, Euguinda Parnell, Donna Miles, Kay Heeb all of Harrisburg and Lisa Gross of Trumann; 23 grandchildren and numerous great and great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 31 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Captain Lovell officiating. Burial was private.
