Charles Edgar Humble

Charles Edgar Humble, 73 of Bay, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Osceola he had lived in Bay for the past 37 years. He was a retired construction worker, veteran of the U.S. Army and Korean War and of the Assembly of God faith.

Mr. Humble was preceded in death by one sister; one brother and his parents, Marvin Abe and Mollie Pearl Chipman Humble.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Humble of the home; seven daughters, Sheryl Humble, Sondra Darby, Michelle Lowery all of Bay, Lauria Schats of Litchfield, Minn., Melisha Berridge of Estill Springs, Tenn., Linda Dedman of Huntsville and Barbara Reeves of Batesville; five sons, Charles Humble and Randy Humble both of Haslett, Mich., Marvin Humble of Goldwater, Mich., Tim Frazier of State College, Pa., and Roy Frazier of Jonesboro; two sisters, Josephine Jones and Darlene Pagan both of Trumann; 31 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, Sept. 29 at the First Assembly of God in Trumann with Rev. Kenneth Doke and Rev. Billy Huskey officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were Jeff Reeves, Mark Reeves, Nathan Berridge, Darius Frazier, Scott Dedman, Walt Berridge, Nick Lowery and Chad Darby.

Honorary pallbearers were Chris Lytle, George Reeves, Brandon Berridge, Chuck Dedman, Jeremy Cobb, Randy Pagan and Ricky Reeves.
