Danny Jay Metcalf, 55, of Trumann died Oct. 14, 2007 at his residence. He was born Sept. 10, 1952 in St Louis, Mo. He was the son of Jay Metcalf and Phyllis Imogene Stanton Metcalf.

Metcalf was a City Utility worker with the City of Siloam Springs.

Survivors include his wife, Valerie Metcalf; four daughters, Shantel Metcalf of Eureka Springs, Stormie Jo Metcalf of Tulsa, Okla., Candy Hatcher of Trumann, Misty Rutherford of Trumann; four brothers: Donny Metcalf of Siloam Springs, Dennis Metcalf of Springdale, Roger Stevens of Jonesboro, Jimmie Joe Chapman of Trumann; five sisters, Phyllis Cates of Jay, Okla., Joe Ann McClelland of Siloam Springs, Sharon Alexander of Gravette, Kathy Metcalf of Trumann, Betty Woods of Athens, Tex. and eleven grandchildren.

Graveside services were Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Gentry Cemetery with Luke Church officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery.
