Hobart A. Rogers 76, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Weona, passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2007. Born Nov. 6, 1930 in Cullman, Ala. he was the son of John Phillip (J.P.) and Lois Prestridge Rogers of Weona, who preceded him in death.

Hobart was a self-employed painter for over 30 years, an Army Veteran and a member of the Greenwood, Indiana Moose Lodge #2079.

Survivors include Glena D. Rogers; his daughters, Beverly Isles, Karen Garten and Cindy Alexander of Indianapolis; his siblings, Jimmy Rogers of Trumann, Neal Rogers of Edenburg, Ind., Ann Dearing of Paragould; Shirley Cummings of Knoxville, Tenn., Patsy Matthews and Kathi Rogers of Little Rock; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 18 at the G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home with entombment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Ind.
