Noma Pauline Brock

Noma Pauline Brock, 94, died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Spring Creek Living Center in Cabot. She was born on Monday, May 5, 1913, daughter of the late Robert "R. A." and Lucy Ryan Adams in Walcott.

She had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann before moving to Cabot in 2005. She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Freer Baptist Church in Trumann. Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her husband, Orvis Amon Brock; one son, Druary Floyd Brock, two son-in-laws, Jimmy Wicker and Paul Pendergist and her parents.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Thompson and Teresa Pendergist both of Austin, Ark. and Lou Etta Wicker of Bay; eight grandchildren, Paula Hammersley, Pat Gustason, Barbara Merrick, Anita Munguia, Brock Wicker, Amon Pendergist, Jake Pendergist and Joycelyn Pendergist and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, Oct. 28 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Mark Constant officiating. Burial followed in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Pallbearers were Brock Wicker, Amon Pendergist, Lynn Scott, Matt Moon, Michael Adams Jr., and Gary Smith.
