Born in Harrisburg, she had lived in Walnut Ridge for the past few months and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Weddle was preceded in death by her husband, parents Rev. Jack C. and Delphia R. Kain Smith, two sisters, Glenda R. Bledsoe and Bonnie S. Smith, and three brothers, James Smith, C. L. "Buddy" Smith, and Billy Smith
Survivors include three sons, Michael Dobbins and Billy Dobbins, both of Trumann and Delton Dobbins of Hoxie.; one daughter, Kathy Grissom of Doniphan, Mo.; five brothers, Delton C. "Teen" Smith of Monticello, La., Gerald A. Smith of Bay Village, Jackie D. and Larry D. Smith both of Trumann and Randall R. Smith of Apple Valley, Calif.; two sisters, Joann Angel of Phoenix, Ariz., and Elaine Brecheen of Trumann, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday,Dec. 8 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Samuel Spurlock officiating Burial followed in Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Smith, Johnny Smith, Danny Andrews, Mike Sullivan, Charlie Laire, Eddie Lillard, Rodney Eich, and Junior Fitzgerald
Honorary pallbearers were Terry Smith, Billy Smith, Tommy Smith, and Delton Smith, Jr.
