Geneva C. Farmer

Geneva C. Farmer, 86, of Trumann, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007 at Trumann Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Baldwyn, Miss., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a retired employee of the Singer Company and of the Assembly of God faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Farmer in 1983; a daughter, Meletta Gardner Putts; and her parents, Daniel L. and Mamie Stacey Whitaker.

Survivors include one son, Gerald Sullivan of Elkhart, Ind.; six grandchildren, Todd Sullivan, Jason Sullivan, Ricky Harris, Terry Gardner, Gary Gardner and Rodney Gardner, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Jerry Ferguson officiating. Burial followed in the Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree.

Pallbearers were Lloyd Inzer, Delton Hillis, Jerry Whitsett, Brett Chambers, Boyce Whitaker and Felix Whitaker.
