She was born May 21, 1929 in Holcomb, Mo. She was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Lacy and Bertha Smith; her husband, James Franklin Adams; one son, Harold Marvin Adams; three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by eight daughters, Carolyn Coley of Malone, Fla., Glenda Smith of Malone, Fla., Mary Wells of New Caney, Tex., Carlean Rusher of Jonesboro, Helen Dunavin of Trumann, Marilyn Walters of Trumann, Donna Jones of Pocahontas and Vickie Britt of Pocahontas; one son, Dalton Adams of Trumann; 32 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 13 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Sister Shelby Shelton officiating. Burial followed in Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg.
