Mr. Long was self employed as a Acoustical Ceiling Tile installer and of the Church of Christ faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Long; one brother, Eddie Long and one nephew, Johnathan Long.
Survivors include two daughters, Allison Long of Jonesboro and Makaila Long of Weona; his mother, Addie Bell Ball Long of Harrisburg; two sisters, Velma Annette Scroggins and Debra Peeler both of Harrisburg; eight brothers, Phillip Long and Wesley Long both of Jonesboro, Gordon Long of Poplar Bluff, Mo., William Long of Trumann, James Long of Walnut Ridge, Kirk Long and Marlin Long both of Harrisburg and Tommy Long of Marion
Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 26 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Dave Leonard officiating. Burial followed in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg.
Brothers served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Jones, Jeff Wright, Zachary Long, Chris Scroggins, Jimmy Scroggins and Shane Peeler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Home in Paragould and the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
