He was born on Wednesday, April 24, 1929, the son of the late Ernie and Emma Mae Richards Adams. He was born in and a lifetime resident of Trumann, a retired crop duster and a member of the First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Morgan Adams and his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Susan Dell King of Trumann; his son, David Morgan Adams of Trumann; three sisters, Doll Hurdle of St. Louis, Mo., Yvonne Adams of Trumann and Patricia Clark of Panama City Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Michael Adams and Ronnie Adams both of Trumann; four grandchildren, Kelly Mincy, Eric King, John Adams and Lauren Frisby and four great-grandchildren, Shelby Loftin, Abby Frisby, Scout Mincy and Maddox King.
Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 28 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Burial follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Pallbearers were Eric King, John Adams, Michael Adams, Dennis Morgan, Jan Morgan, Jordan Morgan, Mike Frisby and Joey Hurdle.
Honorary pallbearers were Wally Bradsher, Henry Wilson, Jimmy Moon Sr., Bruce Davis, Buddy E.V. Terry, Bill Teague, Buzz Allen and Jeff Wells.
