He was born in Murfreesboro and had lived in Trumann for the past 46 years and was formerly of Marked Tree. He was a retired factory worker and member of the Melton Avenue Church of Christ.
Kendall was preceded in death by three sisters; two brothers and his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lavern Qualls Kendall of the home; three daughters, Connie Latham of Bono, Johnnie Mitchusson and Deena Collins, both of Trumann; one son, Bobby Kendall of Jonesboro; two sisters, Mary Sposito of Midlothian, Tex. and Betty Sharrott of Pennsylvania; one brother, Milton Kendall of Malakoff, Tex.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 23 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Nolan Glover and Ronnie Benson officiating. Burial followed in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Pallbearers were Bobby Kendall, Brock Kendall, Ronnie Norman, David Collins, Colt Collins, Butch Mitchusson and Billy Willard.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Shields, Mike Williamson, Glenn Presley, Jim Collins, Jonathan Shields and the men from Melton Ave. Church of Christ.
