He was born in Cave City and had lived in Trumann since 1950. He was a Pentecostal Church of God minister for 50 years, was a retired employee for the former Singer plant in Trumann, and a member of the Healing Hands Community Church.
Rev. Clem was preceded in death by one brother, L.J. Clem; one sister, Lillie Mae Crouch and his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Ethel Clem of the home; one son, Gary Clem of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Claudia Weaver of Jonesboro and Cathy Laire of Trumann; one brother, Leroy Clem of Strawberry and one sister, Ruby Tippitt of Strawberry; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, March 6 at the Healing Hands Community Church in Trumann with Rev. Anthony Patterson officiating. Burial followed in the Willis Cemetery near Trumann.
Pallbearers were Jeff Weaver, Scott Weaver, Mark Weaver, Arnold Weaver, George Weaver, Anthony Weaver, Chris Laire and Greg Clem.
