Mrs. Alberta Lucille Woodard, 77, of Trumann died Monday, March 10, 2008 at the family residence. She was born in Missouri, and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.

She was a former employee of the Arkansas Area Agency on Aging and of the Pentecostal faith.

She was preceded in death by one son, Junior Dale Woodard; one sister, Faye Jacques and was the daughter of the late Herman and Emma Thomas Wilson.

Survivors include her husband, R.A. Woodard of the home; two daughters, Alberta Richardson and Betty Lee of Trumann; one son, Terry Woodard of Trumann; one daughter-in-law, Pauline Woodard of Trumann; two sisters, Barbara Donner and Joan Dodson of Kennett, Mo.; four brothers, Dempsey Wilson, Vernon Wilson and Dennis Wilson all of Trumann and Rudy Wilson of Kennett, Mo.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 19 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Sister Shelby Shelton officiating. Burial followed in the Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg.

Pallbearers were Bryan Dowdy, Greg Wilson, Jimmy Woodard, Michael Taber, Johnny Armstrong and Jimmy Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations to the Arkansas for Animals or the Humane Society.
