Mae Willean Swain, 75, of Trumann, died Saturday, April 22, 2008 at the family residence. She was born in Trumann and had lived in California before moving back to Trumann 16 years ago. She was a retired water tester for Parker Hannifin Corp. and a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann.

She was preceded in death by one son, Harold Eugene Hunter and was the daughter of the late Doss and Ici Holt Tatum.

Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Swain of the home; three daughters, Vicki Yvonne Hunter, Sharon Denise Picklesimer and Betty Jean Haney all of Jonesboro; three sons, Robert Preston Culpepper of Orange County, Calif., James D. Swain and Billy Joe Swain both of Trumann; one sister, Joyce Lawyer of Springfield, Ill; two grandchildren, April Christine Kavanaugh and Paul John Ospital.

Funeral services were Tuesday, March 25 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating. Burial followed in the Macedonia Cemetery in Jonesboro.
