He was the son of Howard and the late Wanda May Williams Taber and was born on December, 9, 1977 in Wichita, Kans.
He was a 1996 graduate of Flippin High School. After graduating he became a tugboat captain. While working for Kirby Shipping, located at the Houston Shipyard in Houston, Tex., he started working in the oil fields as a drill rigger in Nacogdoches until his death. He was loved by his family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Taber and one brother, Billy Jack Taber.
He is survived by his father, Howard Taber of Flippin; one daughter, Jordon Podwoski of Olive Branch, Miss.; three brothers, Marty Taber of Avinger, Tex., Jackie Taber of Hutchinson, Kans. and Michael Taber of Trumann; four sisters, Linda Brooks of Rivervale, Kecha Lambert of Flippin, Pauline Woodard of Trumann and Juanita Wilkerson of Alma, Colo.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 26 at the Burns Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael Taber officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview. Pallbearers were Daniel Taber, Travis Taber, Dewayne Blagg, Richie Whitworth, Albert Vargas and Billy Jack Taber, Jr.
