She was born on Wednesday, March 18, 1925, daughter of the late Robert and Emma Bruce Ishmael. She was born in Trumann and had lived in Harrisburg and LaPorte, Ind., before moving back to Trumann in 1997. She was a pattern maker for a furniture company in LaPorte.
Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hill; two sisters, Alma Braden and Louise Renard; two brothers, Al Ishmael and Wilburn Ishmael, and her parents..
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Hill of Mountain View, Calif., and Judy Hill of Trumann; one sister, Emma (Charles) Knight, of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Christopher (Robyn) Furness, Jill Foster, Rachelle Workman and Jay Workman and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, May 2 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. George Renard officiating. Burial followed in the Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery in Harrisburg.
Pallbearers were Al Ishmael Jr., Charles Knight Jr., Keith Renard, Christopher Knight, Dustin Knight and David Cardine.
