TPD felony arrest report

Matthew Mangrum, 501 Joy Lane, Jonesboro, was arrested on April 29 by Capt. Jerry Foster and charged with violation of Arkansas hot check law.

After appearing in a probable cause hearing in front of Judge Steve Inboden he was given a bond of $1,500.

Scott Tyner, 3307 Shanley Dr., Jonesboro, was charged with forgery. According to reports he passed a fake check in the amount of $1,758.47 at a local bank.

He was released on his own recognizance by Judge Inboden.

Karima Matthews, 336 East Side Gardens, was arrested on May 4 by Ptl. Gary Swift and charged with delivery of a controlled substance (pills).

According to reports she was arrested after she admitted to purchasing some xanax from Shane Boulton.

She appeared before Judge Inboden and was released on her own recognizance.

Kourtney Matthews, 346 Eastside Gardens, was arrested by Ptl. Swift and charged with delivery of controlled substance (pills). According to reports she was arrested after she admitted to purchasing some xanax from Boulton.

She was released on her own recognizance after appearing before Judge Inboden in a probable cause hearing.

Jerika Butler, 444 South Ozark, was arrested on May 4 by Ptl. Swift and charged with delivery of controlled substance (pills). According to reports she was arrested after she admitted to purchasing some xanax from Boulton.

Shane Edward Boulton, 417 Douglas, was arrested on May 4 by Ptl. Swift, Sgt. Gary Henry and Sgt. Erik Willbanks. He was charged with delivery of controlled substance (xanax).

According to reports he was arrested after four witnesses admitted they had bought xanax from him.

He was released on her own recognizance after appearing before Judge Inboden in a probable cause hearing.

Jeremy Birdsell, 113 Davis St., was arrested on May 4 by Sgt. Willbanks and charged with possession of controlled substance (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to reports Sgt. Willbanks stopped the suspect's vehicle for a traffic violation. Birdsell gave consent for the vehicle to be searched and a hollowed out light bulb with a granular substance inside was found.

He was given a $100,000 cash only bond by Judge Inboden during a probable cause hearing.

Jeffery Lynn Wright, 14705 Mollie Lane, was arrested by Ptl. Jonathan Schmidt on May 7 and charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.

According to reports Ptl. Schmidt made a traffic stop on Wrights vehicle and noticed Wright to be very nervous. Consent was given to search the vehicle and his person. During the search of his person a bottle containing a baggie with a powder substance consistent with methamphetamine was found inside the vehicle items commonly used in the manufacture of meth were found.

During questioning Wright gave consent for his residence to be searched. Ptl. Schmidt accompanied officers with the Poinsett County Sheriff's Department to search the residence and several more items used to manufacture meth were found.

He appeared before Judge Inboden and was given and a cash only bond of $100,000 was given.
