Veterans of their family members are asked to submit the veteran's name, branch of service, and years served along with their date of birth and date of death if they are deceased. Please note if the veteran was killed in action (KIA), died of wounds (DOW), had disease from non-combat (DNB) and foreign object damage (FOD). Also send a brief description of the veteran's service such as wartime, peacetime, place stationed, metals and other honors awarded.

in Sault Ste Marie, MI. My Father Floyd Neal Porterfield (deceased) served w/the United states Navy aboard the USS Lexington CV6 Pacific Operations, and the USS Johnston (DD) My Mother Nita Jo Porterfield still resides in Trumann along with my Brother Ricky "Petey" wife Charlotte
and my Sister Diane Carr, I now reside in Rudyard MI with my wife Donna I am retired from the US Army & the MIch Dept of Corrections. I am employed by the US ARMY CORPS of ENGNEERS as a Security Officer. Its a great honor to be named among the best who has payed the greatest price for freedom.......
