The Trumann Chamber of Commerce is cooperation with WalMart is offering Trumann residents the opportunity to recycle old newspapers, paperback books, magazines and old phone books from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 26. Residents can drop off the above named paper items at the Trumann WalMart.

Chamber members will be available at the WalMart parking lot to assist residents in placing recyclables in the proper bins.

The recycling program, dubbed "Trumann Goes Green" is the first step in a year-long effort to clean up the city of Trumann and its streets and neighborhoods. The local chamber is sponsoring the program along with another campaign asking citizens to "Take Pride in Your Community."
