E.C. Dunman, Jr., 75, of Flint, Mich. died Friday, July 11 at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Flint.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 15, at Riegel Funeral Home in Flushing, Mich.

Pastor Jerry Stoner officiated at the service. Burial was at Meadow View Cemetery in Davison, Mich.

Mr. Dunman was born December 28, 1932 in Madison County, Al. He was the son of the late E.C. Dunman, Sr. and Carrie Alma Dunman. He retired from General Motors Fisher One in Grand Rapids, Mich., in 1985 after 32 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Dunman; three sons, Ralph Dunman, Michael Dunman and James Dunman, all of Flint; two daughters, Susan Mangrum of Flint and Paula Jimenez of Burton, Mich.; 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn Thorn of Trumann and Linda Whaley of Kansas City, Mo; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Steven, in 2003. He was also preceded by two baby sisters who died in childhood and two other sisters, Lorena Davis of Trumann and Dolores Wilson of Kansas City, and his parents.
